I think they really need to beat Old Miss and then any other of the remaining games would seal the deal. Just my opinion. I also think that if Kentucky Makes the NCAA then Billy G. deserves the coach of the year award. Just my opinion. I think Coach Gillispie has changed the course of this team in a way no other coach could have done. This Kentucky Team was horrible with a Capital H early on. Now you have Crawford playing like a lagitimate Pro- prospect, Bradley is playing inspired ball and Patterson is going to be a superstar. But Patterson is not there yet! I could be wrong and perhaps I am but I don't feel Patterson is going to turn pro next year. Right now Patterson is totally a post player. His three point shot is not there yet. He even has alot of work to do on his short jump shots. Patterson is good with his back to the basket and is a good low post player. I believe Patterson will be a superstar and all those short jump shots he has missed this year will start going in and I believe his shooting form is perfect for a three point shooter. What does Patterson need? Quite simply other good players to take the heat off of him so he can shoot! Right now Kentucky is very one dimensional. Patterson cannot develop his offense with the opposing teams defense all over him. Patterson will be a first round lottery pick and will be a great NBA player. But I don't think it is time, after one year, for that to happen. Just my opinion. At Kentucky we have three lagitimate scoreing threats. Thats it! Patterson will not see his potential fully developed this year. Opposing defenses will not let that happen. But it's coming! Rest assured.
